In the beginning, Adam and Eve disobeyed God by eating of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. A tree of knowledge stood in the middle of the garden of Eden, and Eve was standing under it and satan in the form of a snake saw her there.
The snake slithered up to her, whispering softly to her, "Just, look at the lovely fruit in this tree." Smell how sweet it is," the snake hissed at her, He tricked Eve to eat of the tree in the middle of the garden of Eden.
Satan convinced Eve that God was lying about the tree of knowledge. He told her to take a bite because God was trying to keep her from knowing good and from the things that are evil. Eve picked another fruit and then passed it on to Adam.
Adam did not want to disappoint Eve, so he took a bite. That very moment, Adam and Eve disobeyed God, which is called sin, their eyes were opened and sin separated them from God. The same holds true today.
Because we have sinned and disobeyed God's laws, there is an invisible wall between us and God. Jesus Christ, loved people so much, He was willing to pay the ultimate price for you and me. He was willing to give his own life to rub out man's sins so people and God could come together and be friends again.
We need to live our lives like Jesus, although we will never be perfect like He was, He will give us strength to overcome sin. When he rose from the dead, everything changed! The power of sin was broken over people's lives, and the wall of sin was destroyed, people could once again be best friends with God.
God wants to wash all your sins away. Give your burdens to the LORD, and he will take care of you. He will not permit the godly to slip and fall. As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our sins from us. He never wants to remember them again. All we need to do is to go on our knees and ask God for forgiveness, He will immediately wash all your sins away, He makes your heart clean as though you had never sinned in the first place. Delight your yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your ways to the Lord: and trust in Him.

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in[a] Christ Jesus our Lord.
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
1 Corinthians 2:8.
None of the rulers of this age understood it, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
1 Thessalonians 5:5.
You are all children of the light and children of the day. We do not belong to the night or to the darkness.
Happiness is in the hearts of people who has God in their lives. If you follow Jesus, God himself will give you His joy and peace.
We deserve the death penalty, but God made a plan for mankind. He sent His only begotten Son to take the punishment for all mankind. We have the free will to decide if we want God or hell.
I pray that more and more brothers and sisters will make the decision to give their hearts to Jesus Christ, our Saviour. He has sacrificed so much for us by dying on the cross for our sins. And God had to sacrifice His only Son for all mankind. Don't waste this precious gift of eternal life.
With each Sunday school lesson, I try to give the kids special verses, activities and pictures to color in. Below you will find the download links for the special verse of the day and more. Please feel free to use them as you like for personal use in your own Sunday school classes. The wording and any images on this website are not to be sold or reproduced in any publications online or offline. I drew these pictures so that you could add your own verses to them for the day. Color the edgings with marker pens and a little bit of glitter. You can hand them out to the children to take home as bible verses for the day, even better if each child has a separate book, they can paste it into their own book.
