Adam and Eve Story.

Adam and Eve Sunday School lesson

Do you remember when mommy and daddy prepared a party for you or your sister/brother? Do you remember the excitement, knowing that there was going to be cake and cool- drink and that your friends were going to be there.

God was preparing the whole world for the biggest party. Fruits, nuts, grains and animals, birds, fish, silver and gold and precious stones where all set in place.

“Let us make man in our image after our likeness and let them have authority (control) over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the air, and over the beasts, and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creapeth on the earth."

God created man in His own image male and female. When he created man, God formed him with wisdom, patience, kindness and love and a spirit to determine what is right and what is wrong.

Best of all God made it possible for man to love, laugh and worship Him. God breathed into his nose, the breath of life and man became a living soul. God spoke softly into his ears and said “Adam wake up”, and Adam opened his eyes and looked up into the Fathers face.

Can you image how God felt that very second, it must have given Him great joy to see Adam? The friend that Adam had was God and all the animals around him.

Adam gave all the animals a name, from the tiniest insect, to the biggest giant whales in the sea. He had no fear living with the animals in the garden, even the lions did not hurt him.

In the garden, there was plenty to eat. God saw that Adam was lonely and there was nobody for him to talk too. God put Adam to sleep. God removed a rib out of Adam and formed a woman.

The woman’s name was Eve and God put in her a tender, loving, sensitive spirit, so that she could be Adams helper. When God woke Adam up from a deep sleep, he saw Eve, who was taken out of man.

It was love at first sight! What a gift God gave him. His eyes opened up wide and he said, “oh! wonderful, wonderful, how beautiful she is.” He immediately knew that this was his partner and friend. Adam said “she is now bone of my bone and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called woman, because she was taken out of man.”

God was pleased with his creation.

With each Sunday school lesson, I try to give the kids special verses, activities and pictures to color in. Below you will find the download links for the special verse of the day and more. Please feel free to use them as you like for personal use in your own Sunday school classes. The wording and any images on this website are not to be sold or reproduced in any publications online or offline. I drew these pictures so that you could add your own verses to them for the day. Color the edgings with marker pens and a little bit of glitter. About Our Lessons

Dear Sunday school partners, all around the world. Please refer to your Bible and compare to see if you agree with our children Sunday school lessons.

The stories are not word for word out of the Bible, they are created from my own thoughts. I am only human, so please check the stories out first before using them.

These stories are based on easy words for children to understand, and my own thoughts. You are welcome to use your Bible to add or take away. At the bottom, there is space for you to give input and comments on the subjects. You are all welcome. We are there to make a difference in a child’s life so please come and let us work together for God’s kingdom.
