The Power of the Holy Spirit.

“And it shall come to pass in the last days, said God: that I will pour out my spirit on all flesh: your son’s and your daughters shall prophesy, your young men shall see visions, your old men shall dream dreams. On my menservants and on my maidservants I will pour out my spirit in those days: and they shall prophesy.
Jesus said, ‘’ It is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Helper, the comforter, will not come. Jesus is speaking of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit has been given to us, so that we will not be without a comforter. The Holy Spirit is not limited to one place, He can be everywhere at the same time all across the world.

The Holy Spirit not only wants to live in us, He also wants to walk with us every step of our journey through life. He wants to give you enough grace for ever new day for the rest of your life. One hundred and twenty followers of Jesus gathered in the upper room to praise and pray and wait upon the Lord.

The bible says suddenly it sounded like a wind storm filling the upper room, but there was no wind. it was only the sound of it. Then flames of fire appeared and sat on the heads of every person in the upper room. The Holy Spirit filled the room! And every person was filled with His power. Everyone of them were glorifying and worshiping God. They all spoke in different languages, living waters flowed out of their bellies.

If you want to become spiritually stronger you will have to set aside time for bible study, prayer, witnessing and attending church, so that you will grow spiritually. For this is the only way to have a mature life like Jesus Christ. We all can be filed with God's power.

In Joel it said, ’’These people are not drunk as you suppose, but they’re filled with the spirit of God like the prophet’s. It happen then and it can happen today. All you need is the holy spirit, He will give you the living waters that you will never thirst again, He will give you true peace, joy, and happiness as long as he remains the center of your live.

Our God is a good father who gives good gifts to his children. The Holy Spirit produces fruit in our lives, love, joy, peace, patience, goodness, gladness, gentleness, kindness and self-control. He leads us in the truth and fills us with powers to do signs, wonders and miracles. You will firstly need to confess your sins, then the Holy Spirit will give you all His power to your disposal. The Holy Spirit will bring change, ask Him to change your thinking and to give you boldness for God’s Holy Word.

The Moral of the story.

A.) You can give your heart to Jesus and not attend to church or not be baptised which will leave you empty and with no growth, which we call an empty vessel. To be a child of God is a very important step to take, it means that your whole life has to change.

B.) You can give your heart to Jesus and be baptised and decide that church is enough for you once a week, which will leave you half empty. This we call an half empty vessel. You will soon discover that your knowledge of the Word of God is not enough to give out to those around you.

C.) You can give your heart to Jesus, be baptised and make a choice and a decision that the Holy Spirit will lead you in the wisdom of the Word, (study, study, study.) you will attend church and be involved in prayer life and also be involved with the body of Christ. So you will discover the power of the Holy Spirit has given you enough to give out to the world, your vessel will be overflowing and the joy of the Lord and the praises of song will come out from your belly in praise and worship and also receiving a new tongue. This is the power of the Holy Spirit. What type of vessel would you like to be? An empty vessel, a half full vessel or an overflowing vessel?
