Jesus spoke many times in parables.
A parable is a story that is easy to understand and helps people understand something that is very hard. Planting seeds is called “sowing”.
Jesus’ story is called the Parable of the Sower and the Seed.
The people asked Jesus what the parable meant. He told him that the seed was like the things He was trying to teach them about the kingdom of God.
Different people have different kinds of hearts. Some believe the word and some choose not to. . Whoever has the word of God in them, to him will more be given and he will be richly rewarded. And those that do not have the word in them, they will not be blessed. And Jesus said, this is the reason that I speak in parables. The hard soil of the path was like the hard hearts of people who heard Jesus’ teaching but did not even understand or care what it meant.
If you have ears hear the word of God and if you have eyes seek the word of God. There are some that do not want to listen to the word of God. And there are some that do not want to see or know the truth.
Most people stay like babies in Christ, there is no growth in their lives. Some do not grow in wisdom and knowledge. The person whose heart is like the good soil always has a hunger and a thirst for God’s word and wants to listen to God and make him happy by obeying him.
Do you have Jesus in your heart? Does God’s word grow daily in your heart? Are you growing up to be like Jesus? He has done so much for us let us learn to be more like Him.

And as he sowed, some seeds fell by the roadside, and the birds came and ate them up.
Other seeds fell on rocky ground, where they had not much soil; and at once they sprung up, because they had no depth of soil.
Other seeds fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up and chocked them out.
Other seeds fell on good soil, and yielded grain – some a hundred times as much, and some thirty.

Dear Sunday school partners, all around the world. Please refer to your bible and compare to see if you agree with our children Sunday school lessons.
The stories are not word for word out of the bible, they are created from my own thoughts. I am only human, so please check the stories out first before using them.
These stories are based on easy words for children to understand, and my own thoughts. You are welcome to use your bible to add or take away. At the bottom there is space for you to give input and comments on the subjects. You are all welcome.
