The Holy Spirit Lesson.

The Holy Spirit is our teacher, our comforter and our strength, who gives us power. Jesus, made it clear that it was necessary for Him to go to heaven to be with the Father, so that the Holy Spirit could dwell with us on earth to teach and guide us all.

The spirit is present in the lives of every Christian and leads and teaches us, He talks to us through the Word of God, He gives us wisdom and teaches us to pray.

The Holy Spirit has all the same functions, powers, and wisdom and knowledge that God the Father and God the Son has. They just have different jobs to do. It is also the Holy Spirit who grants you with spiritual gifts.

Jesus left, and He send us a comforter, the Holy Spirit, down to earth to continue His works with His children. The Holy Spirit is living in every child of God. We now have Him with us forever. Because God is living within us, we need never be without God again.

The Holy Spirit can be everywhere at once all the time! Like God the Father, He is invisible, and is everywhere. He too has always existed, and will always be. He can be in our hearts at the same time all around the world. The Holy Spirit is the spirit of truth and renews our lives day for day and makes our lives more like Jesus. He can also give you a miracle working power life so that you will say the right words at the right time to proclaim the Word of God.

It’s actually the Holy Spirit that speaks to our hearts and makes them hungry to come to the Father. It’s His voice we are hearing when we hear the voice of God. He is the one that leads us and guides us in our daily lives.

The Holy Spirit is a gentle spirit and will never force himself on you. You need to freely choose to follow him, we all have to make a choice in our lives at some point or another. To follow the Holy Spirit guidance and to obey His voice and to obey Him in all things we do, it is worth the walk with Jesus Christ.

The bible calls the Holy Spirit our teacher. As we spend time reading the Word of God, the Holy Spirit is right there teaching us what the scriptures mean. Jesus said “The helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you everything. The Holy Spirit is always right there to comfort us. Jesus left this precious gift on our behalf, don’t let it go wasted. Call upon Him, He needs to know that you will allow Him to guide and lead you in your life.

Holy Spirit Prayer

Dear Holy Spirit I invite you into my life today, and to be a big part of my life and that you will intercede for me and that all the fruits of your spirit will be clearly visible in my life now and forever.

Make me loving, joyful, and fill me with your peace, give me patience towards others, teach me to be kind, good, faithful, gentle to all that are around me and teach me to have self-control in my life. I now truly place my whole life under your control so that you will determine my behavior. Remain in me all the days of my life. Amen.

Downloads for the Holy Spirit.

With each Sunday school lesson, I try to give the kids special verses, activities and pictures to color in. Below you will find the download links for the special verse of the day and more. Please feel free to use them as you like for personal use in your own Sunday school classes. The wording and any images on this website are not to be sold or reproduced in any publications online or offline. I drew these pictures so that you could add your own verses to them for the day. Color the edgings with marker pens and a little bit of glitter. You can hand them out to the children to take home as bible verses for the day, even better if each child has a separate book, they can paste it into their own book.  How to Apply Wording in White Space of Picture.

About Our Lessons

Dear Sunday school partners, all around the world. Please refer to your bible and compare to see if you agree with our children Sunday school lessons.

The stories are not word for word out of the bible, they are created from my own thoughts. I am only human, so please check the stories out first before using them.

These stories are based on easy words for children to understand, and my own thoughts. You are welcome to use your bible to add or take away. At the bottom there is space for you to give input and comments on the subjects. You are all welcome. We are there to make a difference in a child’s life so please come and let us work together for God’s kingdom.
