On the Sermon of the Mount, Jesus spoke to the crowds in parables. Explaining the lesson about the “salt of the earth” and the “light of the world”.
As a child of Jesus, people of the world must see that we are different to the rest of the world. God brought us out of darkness and placed us into his miraculous light, therefore, we are the light of the world.
We must not be ashamed of Jesus; we must let our light shine for Him. We must tell people in the world about Jesus, who is the savior of the world and who died for all our sins.
God sent His son to the earth so that He could die and save us from all our sins. We can make a difference in people lives.
The salt is used to preserve foods, to give flavor to foods and is used for medical purposes. And as we move into the light, the salt we give off is healing to the world. Jesus said we are the salt of the earth, being a child of God, gives flavor to our lives. It’s the same with food, if we eat food without salt it tastes like nothing.

Verses of the day.
You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste, how can its saltiness be restored? It is not good for anything any longer, but to be thrown out and trodden underfoot by men.
You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.
1 Peter 2:9
But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people, that you should show forth the praises of Him who has called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
